Detailed description of Glen Oaks Golf Course
Glen Oaks Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Glen Oaks Golf Course first opened for play in 1930.
The tree-lined fairways sit on rolling hills.Expect many uneven lies. A creek that flows throughout the course. Nice bridges and rock works and to the ambiance and come into play around the cart paths. The greens are average-sized greens are undulating. Water hazards coming into play on eight holes.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6078 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5155 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 519 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 18, a par-3 that plays to 157 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 435-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 11, a 295 yard par-4.

This was the last day in Michigan where the temps were above 70, so the course was busy. In fact the group behind us hit into us on the very first hole. Geez! The pace of play was way too slow. It took me almost 6 hours to play a round of golf on this day.
